Title: Focus

Author: Daniel Goleman

Year: 2013

Summary:Daniel Goleman aims to give you some of it back with Focus. This book is about mindfulness, willpower, leadership, success and empathy. Goleman starts Focus by presenting to us the two types of distractions. The first one is sensorial, which comes from the perception of your sensors, for example when you notice for an instant that your tongue is touching the roof of your mouth. The second one is emotional. These types of distractions are more challenging, they come from the complexity of our lives, such as the loss of someone close. The author goes on to say the more you focus on one thing, the better your performance and learning will be.
