Reviewer's comment:

“Sweep the Sheds - Never be too big to do the small things that need to be done.” 'Legacy' identifies 15 lessons on leadership learned from the All Blacks New Zealand rugby team. We have since implemented a weekly culture call into my business, where the whole team is discussing our standards and behaviours.

A book with lots of lessons to implement!

Reviewer's comment:

Like all business books it touches on all of the things that can make you, your team or business more successful. It definitely can be labelled as "just another business book", however, I found it to be more precise than a lot of the business books that I have read. With the facade that this might be a book about sports (rugby), once you get a few chapters in you realise that it is a book about life and business purely using sports metaphors. It definitely lacks the more specific details of how you can apply the lessons learned from The All Blacks (possibly the greatest sporting team in history), but it touches on them just enough for you to be able to make some shifts in the right direction. Every chapter is relevant to the real world, there is a lot to learn and it's easy to read.

Pros

Each chapter is a specific lesson that has real world application

Insights into the worlds greatest sporting team that I never knew

The lessons are different to what you would expect.

Cons

Not enough detail or research behind the lessons.
