Reviewer's comment:

If you're looking for a book to give you an incredible overview of how to optimise your brain in regards to memory, motivation and mindset, then I highly recommend this for you. I read this in 20 minute bursts, as there is soo much practical information, that it was the best way to absorb and remember as much as I could. Check out techniques like 'The Pomodoro Technique' and 'Memory Palace'.

Pros

Heaps of Practical techniques to implement.

Reviewer's comment:

I really enjoyed this book. It provides amazing insights into how to get more out of your brain and is a great place to begin your journey on learning faster. It touches on so many techniques for speed reading, memory, motivation, goals, focus and more and provides real exercises that you can use to start improving your learning processes. It is a very surface level book, it touches on too many topics to be able to deep dive into a particular area. Not that that's a bad thing, it's more if you're looking for a deep dive into memory, this isn't it, this is the beginning. This is more of an exercise book than a text book. Read it once quickly, then read it again over a long period of time while you put into practice each exercise.

Pros

Clear and simple exercises provided that you can start practicing now

Easy to read and understand

Cons

Too many exercises to be able to read the book quickly.

Doesn't explain why things work in enough detail
